Church/Pipe Organ - Schwarze___Rose - 08-07-2014

Hello Metalfolk.

I have a question.
There are a lot of (very) good Funeral Doom Metal bands.
I like this genre because the easy tempo with powerfull drums.
Offcourse the Church Organ too.

As i said i have found some bands with the Organ in it, but it will be not powerfull enough for me. It's likely more some background Organs.

Okay, let me explain what i'm searching for.
I want an easy tempo, like allmost all Funderal Doom Metal bands.
The grunt may be powerfull but may not lead the song.
The thing that must lead is the Organ, POWERFULL (as in the intro of mr. Crowley) and not only the intro. The band must be based with the Organ.
Further, i want some good drum work. POWERFULL too but not too fast.
What i don't want is Heavy Metal guitarwork. I want the black/doom style without absurd high pingles. Just low freq. guitar.
To fill the tracks, some violin, or other melodic/symphonic instruments is perfect solong the Organ is the lead instrument for the band!

Sorry for my bad English.
I hope that someone knows the name of the band i'm searching for!

I can give you some hint to help.
I think that a mix of 'Basarabian Hills' and 'Sadael' would be the perfect one!
With the grunt of Basarabian Hills.

Thanks a lot for any help!

First.......... your english is no way bad Smile3

I think that the better way to find a band like this is to gather it by yourself and start playing the way you like! Grin Laugh1

Sepultus Est?

I don't see this band anywhere on the site, and didn't see much of them anywhere else. I'm guessing you're in this band? Either way, think you need to add the records here.

So it's a long time ago ive been here.

I have found some very good tracks!!!
Even the bands are very good but not every track is with the church organ.
But the tracks that have the church organ is in my opinion OUTSTANDING!!!
please listen these tracks:
(some without organ but outstanding too)

1. Ankhagram - Again (without organ but the best track!!!)
2. Ankhagram - Under Ruins (part II) (Best intro i have ever heard, church organ)
3. Ankhagram - ...End Of Everything (The death march with trumpets)
4. 1000 Funerals - Final Wish (FDM at HQ sound, organs at the end, beautyful)
5. Lethargy Of Death - Lost Way (Beautiful FDM)
6. Lethargy Of Death - Torment (This track got the 'power')
7. Profetus - A Reverie (Midsummer's Dying) (Another track with the 'power')
8. Profetus - Dead Are Our Leaves Of Autumn (The high pingles is a mistake but further great track)
9. Profetus - The Dire Womb Of Winter

Ankhagram is my favorite at the moment, very very great tracks!!!
Another very great racks of Ankhagram:

-Buried (cover)
-Under Ruins (part I) (Very rare track. It's look he is finding the right snares, the right combination. Further in the track it's look he have found the right combi of snares and it sounds awesome!)
-I'm Fake (That is another supergreat track with church organ)
There are more & more great tracks, so check Ankhagram if you liked this.

'The Howling Void' & 'Funeral Tears' are another great FDM bands, check it if you want.

To be continued...

Hi! Have you found more FDM bands with church organ as one of the main instruments in their songs? I'm also interested to listen something like that. By the way I was listening Ankhagram and I liked it very much!

Hey, I have two suggestions that I think you really will enjoy!

1. Uaral
2. Pantheist

Hopefully you guys will enjoy it as much as I do!

RE: Church/Pipe Organ - Schwarze___Rose - 11-16-2014

I've found Remembrance. Interesting FDM.

Because i'm a truck driver and have a wife and 3 childrens i don't have much time for searching the church organ bands.
When i have time i will go further searching, it will never ends.....

Because i have fallen in love for FDM and special for the beautiful organs!

So it will always be updated from time to time with the best FDM bands with or without a church organ.
