How long should I seed a torrent? I have a very nosey ISP who watches upload traffic like a Nazi. I really don't want to go to jail just to remain a member of the tracker community, so how long should a torrent be seeded before I can remove it from my shared folder. Most other trackers require 24-48 hours at minimum. Does/could that apply here as well.

You don't need to seed: we have freeleech now.
But if your rating is small you can download only 1 torrent per minute.
So that's your choice: to wait a minute or to seed torrents.

Thanks for the info man, I did not know about the free-leech. I will seed stuff I just wanted to know for how long, basically if I try something out and hate it I don't want to be stuck seeding it forever, that's how I got banned a while back. For not seeding torrents that had been deleted months earlier.
