Dreamaker is a good choice if you check out Dark Moor and like the singer from the albums Shadowland,The Hall of Olden Dreams, and Gates of Oblivion. They only released two albums before they called it quits but they did some good work.

I also agree with the view on Japanese Power Metal. They don't care about established dogma or genre "propriety" and they go all out with no regrets. Galneryus is a good example of what fairly standard Power Metal sounds like when sung in Japanese (which is an excellent language for passionate expression), but Aldious, Cyntia, Versailles, Jupiter, Hizaki Grace, Mary's Blood, etc. are power metal bands infused with that special chaos that can only be forged in Japan.

Also: Holy Grail, Axenstar, Catharsis, Bloodbound, Tierra Santa (if you don't mind Spanish), and Thy Majestie are agreeable.
