The only Christian metal band I really like is Antestor but I only like Omen. Can anyone recommend any bands? Nothing "core" please. Thanks a lot.

Theocracy is a very good christian power metal band
Lengsel is sick chrisitan black metal band too
Slechtvalk is great too ;)

if u have spotify type yr favorite band and go see the recommendation there is tones of black metal or death or power metal that is chritian and very good

I'll add Extol (especially, earlier stuff), Bloodgood, Sacred Warrior are excellent, Crimson Moonlight, and Sorrowstorm from Costa Rica. Absolutely agree with aimmy, Theocracy are awesome and a must check, Tourniquet as well. There are a good number of worthy Christian bands if you dig around.

In Italy there is one band called "Fratello Metallo", the singer is a franciscan friar (could anyone be more christian than him? ). They play classic heavy metal, talking about God, faith and life.
Of course, they are not a top band as Stryper for example, but the sound is good and the "singing friar" is unique for a metal band (it's also a bit funny and unusual at all).
