About the album itself, I think it's a step forward. They keep refining the sound we come to see in Old Star and Eternal Hails albums. It sounds more catchy. I would say they found more balance between progression (OS songs) and repetition (EH songs). So one can taste a cycle (or a couple of them) more than once in the same song. Also a more Norwegian-BM oriented production helped to highlight guitar, what I like most. Hope they take back high-speed and punk to their music someday haha.
