Darkwave/ Gothic Rock from Germany.
Downstairs Left, founded in Chemnitz in 2008 by René, Ronny and Bassti, started as a dark gothic band and enchanted the numerous followers with multifaceted and virtuoso sounds. After the release of their debut longplayer "Waiting for the golden age" in 2010 under the label "Echozone", Downstairs Left shared the stage with some well-known bands.
At the beginning of 2011 the current drummer Joe G. Goldberg joined the band and gave the trio an unprecedented energy. The consequences were a much more rocking direction of their music, the flirt with the metal and the will to offer the audience a catchy show.
The songs get the necessary substance and dramaturgy from the charismatic voice of the front man René, from the expressive playing of the guitar sorcerer Ronny and from the solid bass grooves by Bassti. Joe's driving beats complete the big picture and form a dynamic that is immediately transferred to the audience.
In order to do justice to their steadily growing fan base, the boys are currently expanding their liveset with at least ten years of stage experience and are busy working on a new album.
Downstairs Left play a crunchy mix of Experime (n) tal, Gothic and Rock, which will definitely be heard by some in the near future.
