This is a wonderful post!
I always wondered why the progressive bands and solo artists (with scarce exceptions) does not create resounding success with such masterpieces during all their career. Could it be that, not considering prog as a commercial product, the industry tends to put them aside, underrating them, and leaving just for the genre fans and occasional listeners? It's a pity and a shame. I, particularly, am more fond to metal than other genres, and in metal, I have also my sub-genre preferences, but that does not mean that I can't enjoy other genres good works. Most Prog bands and artists deserve better recognition and diffusion than they have.
