This Russian black metal has taken a long time, many listens, to start having some effect on me. And I'm not sure it is having an effect.. And 5% of downloaders agree: it's great!
At least I can finally say, it's fine, decent music. Melodic black metal, more or less. Not strictly "black metal".
But I haven't, and still don't find it overly compelling. Listening right now, which is why I decided to write something.. Currently, halfway into the 2015 album again. It's nice, and fine... Just not very catchy! Nothing wrong with it otherwise; but, well, so.. Well, we can't all be catchy, all the time, eh?
It is getting better since it began; slightly heavier.. But it really isn't very heavy, in general. Maybe the group is congealing. Maybe they're liquifying. But still, it's not compelling. Take it or leave it. Very neutral is how I seem to be feeling. I'll listen again, and again, eventually. Later, I may like it differently. Hmm. Maybe I'll have something of consequence to say, later.
