Tar - Discography (2017 - 2022)

Sort of funky.. Maybe I begin to get the gist of this post-business..

2017: hmmmm... Eklektik black metal with accoutrements, like crowds of people, water running, peaceful acoustic scenery... And a slightly odd sound besides, due to chords chosen, tempo changes and track construction. There's prominent bass guitar, or some bass-like device. A bit of wailing like I've heard often in Greek BM.. Some birds.. Ultimately, not exactly my sort of mixture in this first album. What will the second one hold..?

2022... acoustic intro... Electric guitar, drums, and bass, much better. Starting off normal... And vocals -- also good. Again with the slightly weird choice of chords. I like the music when the classic black metal is underway, but I don't think I care for the post-operative procedures.. More birds.. Something acoustic.. Guitar very metallic-sounding. I like some parts of some songs on this album, but everything I really like gets interrupted by a diversion into something else. Like I'm driving along and suddenly hit a post. A post shouldn't be there.

No vote in the stars from me this time; I don't really know if it's very good or not. But in terms of my enjoyment of this group based on these two albums, maybe 7, maybe. I don't enjoy it a whole tonne.
