isn't the point of all this to share music with other people? instead of sharing the music with everyone on the site, you choose to share it with the maybe 20 other audiophiles on here who don't think it is ridiculous to have a 45 minute album take up most of 1GB of space.

it just seems impractical to spend so much time uploading music to a site that you, effectively, only actually want to share music with a sliver of people on. think about it.

download all the albums you want on bandcamp site. they are all for free on 128 kbps.

do you think 128 kbps is a low quality?

ok, so download this file and rip it to mp3 choosing bitrate you prefer or just wait for another user who will upload it  320

It's not that hard to convert from FLAC to MP3... Beggars can't be choosers, but can convert lossless into lossy files ;

Dear Niceden! I think the point qwsa mentioned here maybe is the fact that in some countries internet connection prices are highly expensive but at the end this is not your problem of course.
