Vita Odiosa was born in 2009, as a solo project by Dolore who was already playing guitar in Gort under the nickname Wolf. The decision is due to the personal nature of the lyrics, dealing with depression, inner struggle and solitude.
In 2010 the project released the first demo “Viale del tramonto”, which hadn’t received good reviews with people first and foremost criticizing bad vocal mixing. It was Dolore's first mixing experience. In 2011, inspired by the feedback, he has put much more attention to the mixing, and as a result “Cogito Ergo Crucior”, the new demo, sounds much better without losing the features of the first work. In the same years Vita Odiosa is also releasing a split with Gemini, entitled “…Of Sorrow and Silence”.
Vita Odiosa появилась на свет в 2009-ом году как соло-проект музыканта под псевдонимом Dolore, который на тот момент уже был гитаристом Gort, но под другим псевдонимом (Wolf). Решение создать соло-проект было продиктовано куда более личным содержанием лирики, поднимающей темы депрессии, внутренней борьбы и одиночества.
В 2010-ом Dolore выпускает первое демо под названием “Viale del tramonto” (Бульвар Сансет), которое впрочем не получило хороших отзывов, так как слушателям в первую очередь не понравилось сведение вокала. Это был первый блин автора в части сведения. В 2011-ом, вдохновлённый отзывами, Dolore уделил сведению куда больше внимания, в результате чего новое демо “Cogito Ergo Crucior” (Поэтому я думаю о Кресте) звучит куда лучше, при этом не теряя настороя предшественника. В зти же годы Vita Odiosa выпускает сплит-альбом с Gemini под названием “…Of Sorrow and Silence” (...О печали и тишине).
