This album is interesting, a different black metal sound than usual.. Although it's generally very different from something like Immortal, some tracks remind me of their style, particularly the vocals - like an alternate version of Abbath, occasionally.
I don't totally love this album, but like it, and may come to like it more, maybe not. Not bad though. Different & interesting. Haven't yet listened to the earlier albums from this group, at least, not that I know of, or, maybe not recently - I do see an earlier comment and a 5/5 typed by me when my keyboard was broken... Apparently I did listen already! Hm. Now, I'll listen anew to the old, and to this 2026 album for the first time. If your memory is failing, you can do many things again, for the first time, again, for the first time..
