Love the sound of the drums, especially the bass, it's perfect! Sounds like maybe it's a small diameter or something else is different about it, maybe it's stuffed with bird carcasses or t-shirts. Anyway, cool snappy bass sound...
This is another group I heard by way of split albums, and as we can see, there are a load of split and EP up there, but on the bright side, it appears to all be in 320, though with many upconverts. I've begun with the Demo, and am happy with the sound quality -- it's better than many Demos. For now I have much listening to do before I can say a lot about this group's music.
Meanwhile: thank you vaniaradi, for sharing another cool Polish black metal group with us.
Had a big writeup here but accidentally reloaded the page, losing everything.
Not in the mood to rewrite it all. Suffice it to say, Black Altar is very satisfactory. A mix of classic Norwegian style black metal, a couple doses of synth in there somewhere, lots of heavy, and even a bit of astral atmospheric weirdness. Sinister nauseating guitar, decent drums. An enjoyable collection. Top score.
