What the ____ is that on the cover? A giant rat? Horned beaver? I think I will try this once it clears customs..

Thanks, Merrimen

A vampiric goat.{#grin.gif}

That is one goat I would not want to find eating my car tires first thing in the morning!

OK, I have changed my mind somewhat -- I'd offer that thing some tire scraps if I saw it skulking around my yard.

150+ downloads, yet  just 2 voters? What, are the people spontaneously combusting after listening?

I like it so far.. I'll come back to apply a rating after I've --- hopefully not combusted.

I admit to being a sucker for fast & heavy double-bass, and lots of it. This disc has plenty of that. Guitar playing is perfectly good, vocalist is good. The band is tight and can play well. I quite like this disc. If I had to complain about something... I find the sound a little bit boomy or muffled at times, but I can't say if it's their intent (possibly), or the rip (unlikely), or my audio settings (possibly), or their studio / mixing situation (probably). As for "style" or "genre", there is some speedy metal here, but I would not call this explicitly "speedmetal"; overall, a thrashy, deathy, remotely folky, mostly fast-paced offering. Enjoyable enough to join the collection and get played again.

Taking everything into account, I give it ~ 7.4 / 10 and have not yet combusted.
