Black Thrash? Or wicked black metal, being pounded out by a thrash band!!
[2019] - Something of a chimaera here, of parts Black Metal, and parts Thrash; not exactly blended, but united with heavy, solid, sinewy awesomeness.
Irish metal gangs have a talent for creating very full musical soundscapes, with brutal, ominous heaviness. This album has it, with a grindy death-metal-like torque bridging the various components. Album gets tougher & scarier as it plays!
That bizarrely pseudoanachronistic cover art! Some guy is being nailed to some wood by the Roman, Boba Fett. \m/
