Swedish black metal impresses us again. For me, this is heavy atmospheric (I can sleep to this nice heavy stuff) but technically I suppose it isn't supposed to be atmospheric. It's heavy, a trace of synth somewhere in the background, and basically, just perfectly nice Swedish black metal! As such, enjoyable -- I complain not !!

Unfortunately "atmospheric" in a lot of instances just means cavernous reverb whereas really atmospheric sets a full vibe and color for the album. This def falls under what I consider, "real atmospheric". Good stuff. Glad to see the spirit is still alive in Scandanvian countries.
