Depressive black metal, from Norway.
Finally, write something; I think I listened to this many times by now... While it may be depressive by genre, I don't find it "sombre' or "plaintive" nor particularly depressing; somehow, I guess I find it a bit contemplative, relaxing, and not unpleasant. Perfect background music. Initially, it is reminding me of old Wyrd music - atmospheric black metal. I like Wyrd, so that's just fine. Vocals here are a bit less atmospheric than in Wyrd, a little more 'up front', but it's not a lot of screaming and moaning, and actually, there aren't much vocals anyway. I'll update this post as the album plays, or when it ends; I listen now, freshly restarted.

Nothing to add; it remained pleasant, and atmospheric, with little or no vocals. Nice.
