Pounding, angry black metal. From Norway.   Not bad..

 We have a little bit of nice bendy guitar sounds, and gloomy, morose vocals both deep as well as some anguished howling & bellowing. Steady, adequate percussion.. This is fairly standard style of black metal, not reinventing anything, but doing what they do. I don't disagree with alex8* - it's average in many ways; not poor, not exceptional. No big frills, tangents, nor experimenting; just decent metal.

There are some slower (melodic, slightly) sections interspersed among the faster stuff too; it seems to alternate, and can give a bit of atmosphericness. Track #4 is a nice 10:00 minutes long, and with pleasant clean guitar that gently beckons us into the maelstrom that follows. The mix is overall satisfactory, but if I had to point out one thing, without quite complaining about it, it would be that the vocals are in my humble opinion *slightly* overwhelmed by the music -- just slightly, and it may be the way the group wants it; I can't be sure. Could also be my settings - occasionally they need adjusting.

Overall, I enjoy this group's music - I'm not screaming about it, but I like it fine.
