German black metal. Very different from--- from many things.

I really like the album; and it took many listens to finally start appreciating this rather different "black metal" music. Tracks are lengthy, arrangements complex, not typical nor average. Track #2, for example, is an epic, gothy, doomy-darkwave sounding track, with a mix of clean and hoarse-raspy vocals, plus clean & intricate guitar, on top of complex, heavy percussion; 9 minutes of Stygian Devotion is quite cool.. The Crow and Underworld visuals come to mind, as well as memories of Glen Danzig. Black Spires of groovy Fractal intensity arrive midway in - energetic & wild. "Black metal" styles vary widely, but it seems to me, this album could use a sub-genre or two. <-- Just my 2 cents.
It's worth a listen. "Oooopen your miiiind, Quaaiaiddd... Oooopen youur miiiiinnnd...."
Perhaps there will be more from this talented team; I'd like that too.
Thank you very much, vaniaradi; a pleasantly suprisingly interesting album.
