Cool.. Prog Black Metal? From Lithuania!
I'm only into the first album, from 2014, so maybe I'll have something more and / or different to say later. But so far, this is quite nice, and I hope the rest is similar or even better. It has fine sound, a mix of... Some sort of speedy, melodic epic power metal, folky metal, some black metal influence, with a few pleasant clean sections thrown in. Sound quality is really nice.
What I hear so far, is worth a high rating, but no rate yet until I hear all of it - which could take a few hours, or a day.
Super, vaniaradi. Thank you for sharing this cool stuff, from Lithuania.
UPDATE:
2016 - it can be difficult (for me) to feel the path taken - how did it go from <the genre> to <progressive the genre>. This album in my opinion, has a feeling of epic doom metal, and intricate power metal. Strong in the guitar department, more than one vocalist singing in both black metal and doomy metal styles, both clean and yelled, and again --> great sound! With some sections of actual black metal, but otherwise, quite "progressive". I really like this album!
Albums 2020 & 2026 are both with an increase of power (heaviness, potency) and more of identifiable black metal roots, especially in the percussion & guitars, though the vocals too are strong and aggressive. There's still a nice epic feeling to it all, with a few cleaner sections mixed in. The 2026 album gives me more feeling of "progressive black metal".
I'm pleased with this discography - the group sounds great, and I didn't not like any tracks.
