Holy shit, Batman! I’ve heard rumblings about this band for a while now, but I never really paid them any attention. I wish I had earlier. These guys have been around since 2006—I’ve been missing out.
The vocals on track #2 are blowing my mind right now. The male/female clean harmonies are awesome. Then the growls and harsh stuff kick in… man oh man.
These songs have soul and feeling. I’m being transported somewhere else (and no, it’s not the joint I just smoked). There are so many layers delivering great musicianship. The guitars, bass, and drums are top‑notch. The keys add so much atmosphere. I might even get away with listening to this album in the car with my wife—there are elements she might actually like.
