Greek Black Metal.
For a few minutes, I was unsure; there's lots of anguished wailing, which I've noticed is often present in Greek BM, and I wasn't in the mood for it initially. But, I let it play or got distracted, and came to appreciate this album's overall atmosphere, once I heard it all. I'll give it a few more listens before filing it away into the playlist. For me, the wailing notwithstanding, this is solid medium-heavy atmospheric black metal, a la Greece. Good sound quality, some nice arrangements & melodies (i.e. Blood of the Father..) and a pleasant heavy bass feeling throughout; they've thrown in some wolves, for good measure.
I won't grumble when it arrives at the top of the playlist again. It's quite decent.
