Fascinating! USA black thrash / death metal.
Fairly certain I'll listen to this entire discography again once it's finished, and after I've heard the subsequent album from the ringleader of this group, (Ross) Mr. Proscriptor McGovern. Don't know where to begin with this discography. It's just great, riddled with mythology, technical musicianship, speed, and creativity. Proscriptor is both the vocalist, and the drummer - an amazing feat in and of itself, when we hear how incredibly fast, and accurately, this drummer can play. This fellow can be seen on Youtube, auditioning for Slayer during the Time of Troubles for Dave Lombardo; he and Kerry King do a couple of tracks including Raining Blood - it's awesome; and this guy's also been involved with (among others) Melechesh and Blood Storm, two fine acts, both of whom I like.
In this case, a 5 star rating is deserved.
Subsequent to this is Proscriptor McGovern's Apsu - I'll be going there next.
