This group is excellent! A pleasant treat from Singapore, from whence I had no clue such thick, heavy, melodious metal might come! It is difficult to put this discography into a genre -- I've heard the whole thing several times now (listening right this minute actually) -- it isn't thrash, not much thrash actually, it's kind of deathy metallic, definitely a strong folk element, especially in the few acoustic parts, and when traditional instruments are used. And black metal, yes a strong presence. The drumkit also sounds like it's got a few items on it that aren't usual -- higher pitched toms or something, I dunno, and lots of heavy bass drum..
