A band that evoluted for good. As Black Metal, they were just another good Black Metal Band. As Gothic, under the influence of Black, they were awesome!

Enjoyed this German black metal a lot, last few days.
I guess I haven't quite homed in on the gothic angle; this has been played and restarted numerous times, but I mainly have detected black metal, reasonable angry and potent, grim and gloomy. More listening will surely produce the gothic stuff eventually; it's playing now, again.
2009: found the gothic. And there's more here and there, but I've been listening to the "LP" folder first. Listening to all releases in chronological order will perhaps yield a timespan of gothic. There is some gothic sound in some of the very early albums and splits also.
